Create a template

🔐 Prerequisites​

  • Interface: Web only
  • Rights: User_admin / User_client

🎯 Purpose of the feature​

The purpose of the ‘Templates‘ tab is to create standard irrigation schedules, in order to save time during planning.

📝 Step by step procedure​

  1. Click on the ‘Templates’ tab in the ‘Irrigation’ section of the left-hand side menu.
  2. Select the water network of your choice using the selector at the top right of your screen.
  3. Click on the ‘New Template +’ button in the left side menu.
  4. Name your template. Press the ‘Enter’ key on your keyboard to confirm. The change will be saved automatically.
  5. If you want you can add a description to your template, just below the title.
  6. Create your irrigation slots as you would in the schedule. The change will be saved automatically

Best Practice:   Create your valve groups before you start creating your template. This will allow you to plan valve groups directly, rather than valves individually, saving you time if you have a large number of valves. You can see how to create groups here.
