Introduction
IrrigEasy is SAAS software that enables large agricultural groups to manage their irrigation.
We call it an IMS: Irrigation Management System.
The IMS is defined as a tool that optimises irrigation in order to avoid wasting water, energy and nutrients, thereby reducing soil erosion. It also reduces the drudgery of irrigation work and increases farm productivity.
The three main benefits for customers are:
- Water and electricity savings
- Fewer technicians needed to manage irrigation
- Production optimisation
To achieve this, IrrigEasy collects data from various types of hydraulic and agronomic sensors connected via LoRaWAN:
- Hydraulic sensors: pressure sensors, water meters (volume and flow), and electric meters at the pumping station.
- Agronomic sensors: tensiometers, capacitive probes, and weather stations.
To ensure connectivity, a network of LoRaWAN gateways can be deployed at customer sites.
